S-243 screw fixative, how to dissolve screw fixer

Screw fixer is an adhesive used to hold threaded fasteners. There are many different types of screw fixing agents, such as threadlockers, liquid threadlockers, anaerobic thread gute glues, etc. These products have different properties and uses, such as vibration resistance, sealing and bonding threaded components.

Medium strength, thixotropic viscosity of screw fixative; Good oil holding capacity, can be used on slightly oily surfaces; Lubricity, accurate conversion of favorable torque; Easy to disassemble and disassemble with common tools. For (M8-M20) threaded fastener locking seal.

 Scope of application

Screw fixer is used for M6~M20 thread locking, which has a certain lubrication and can accurately achieve the locking strength.

 Product standards

Screw fixers prevent loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. Ordinary tools are removable.

One-component, blue, medium viscosity (2550~6000) thixotropic glue, curing mechanism: anaerobic. The curing speed depends on the substrate used, with an initial cure of 20 minutes and a full cure of 24 hours. Temperature resistance -54~230°C.

How to dissolve the screw fixative

Screw fixatives are usually made using synthetic resin and cannot be dissolved directly. If you need to undo a screw that has been secured with a screw fixer, try the following:

1. Heating: Heating the screw to a higher temperature can usually soften or decompose the screw fixer. Be careful not to overheat so as not to damage the screws or nearby materials.

2. Use solvents: Some solvents may be able to partially dissolve the screw fixing agent. You can try to use organic solvents such as alcohols, ketones, petroleum ethers, etc., but be careful to choose the right solvent and use it in a ventilated environment. Conduct a small area test first to ensure that the solvent does not cause material damage.

3. Use force: If the above methods do not work, you can try to use force to loosen the screws. Using a suitable tool, such as a wrench or wrench barrel, apply the appropriate force to rotate counterclockwise to loosen the screws. Be sure to use caution to avoid damage to the screws or connecting parts due to excessive force.

Before trying the above methods, it is recommended to consult the screw fixer manufacturer's instructions or contact their customer service for a more specific solution. For some special models or fixatives, specialized tools or methods may be required to solve the problem.
